My name is Renata Gonzalez, I’m 15 years old and I’m currently in my second year of
high school in Monterrey, Mexico. I believe that if someone could define me in six words they would be: energetic, independent, party lover and book lover. They’re all really different traits, I know; but that’s what makes me who I am. I have always been drawn to reading and writing. I like to express my feelings in writing instead of talking to a person.
I believe that reading is the best therapy and also the best medicine on a rainy day. I
have a theory of why I’m so drawn to writing and reading. I believe it’s because ever
since I was a child my mother was absent on almost on all of my important stages of my childhood. She spent most of her days on hospitals or in constant doctors
appointments. When I couldn’t resort to my mother for advice, I resorted to reading
books. I always told myself that I only read to learn things my mother couldn’t, but as I grew older I came to realize that it was because I found books as a way to escape
reality. The condition my mom had may have changed my childhood a bit, but it
definitely made me a better person.
My worst and best flaw is that I’m a perfectionist.
Another one of my flaws is that I hate can’t stand lies. Because of how I am, and
because of what I’ve been trough. That’s why I felt motivated to create a blog like this. I figured this could be the best way to combine all of my flaws and inspirations and join them to influence society into a more well read and sincere community.
